For over 20 years Dr. Peters has served as a psychologist, adjunct college professor and trauma specialist. Her primary focus is creating rapid and powerful transformation. She treats people for depression, anxiety, grief, sexual trauma, PTSD, relationship issues, heartbreak, and stress-related symptoms. She offers coaching for lifestyle issues, wellness, relationship enhancement and navigating life transitions.
She goes beyond traditional talk therapy and taps into the power of the subconscious mind to create lasting change. Her intention is to free you from outdated, negative, automatic programs that are the root cause of emotional and behavioral difficulties. She is certified in diverse therapeutic approaches including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, Brain-Based Hypnotherapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy as well as Mind-Body-Spirit practices such as Meditation and Trauma-Informed Yoga.
Her primary passion is Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT) which is a revolutionary neuroscience-based approach to healing. During RRT, emotional blocks are discovered and cleared through direct communication with the subconscious mind. Counterproductive programs are replaced and updated by newfound wisdom, resetting mind for lasting positive change. As a result, the mind is optimized and clients experience relief, calm, clarity, power, and forward momentum. Many therapies are problem-focused and require a long-term commitment. RRT is outcome-focused, fast and incredibly effective. Within a few sessions, clients experience a dramatic internal shift that drives external changes from bottom up. Their heart-centered awareness expands allowing their light to penetrate darkness. RRT clients discover their gifts and highest purpose so that the glow from their light can then shine the path for others.
