Ketamine IV

Why Consider Ketamine Infusion Treatment?

Ketamine is an anesthetic drug that has been used for over 50 years. Over the past two decades, researchers have discovered it is much more versatile and is now being used in the treatment of chronic pain and mental health conditions.  Moreover, it is safe, fast-acting, effective, and has minimal side effects.

Get positive results for:

  • Severe Depression

  • Bipolar Disorder

  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

  • Anxiety and OCD

  • Grief or Heartbreak

  • Migraines and Chronic Pain

  • Fibromyalgia

What is the Process?

Initial Consultation

The initial consultation includes a medical and mental health screening to assess whether Ketamine is right for you.  We also begin to develop a personalized treatment plan to meet your specific needs and identify desired outcomes.

Infusion Process

You will be escorted to one of our exclusive infusion rooms and settle into a comfortable recliner.  We conduct a pre-assessment and provide supportive counseling while equipment is set up.  Your vitals are monitored by an anesthesia expert throughout the entire session with adjustments being made based on your medical profile and to maximize physiological responsiveness.  The infusion and recovery process together last approximately one hour.  We recommend committing to a course of six infusions administered over a period of two weeks.

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

You may elect to combine Ketamine IV with psychotherapy to guide you in setting intentions, processing any experiences that arise, and integrating insights for lasting transformation.  Rather than years of therapy, internal shifts at the subconscious level will happen at warp speed.

How does it work?

Through its interaction with cellular receptors of neurons, Ketamine restores healthy balance between glutamate and GABA neurotransmitters in the brain.  This corrects the imbalance in the glutamatergic system that is associated with psychiatric disorder and nervous system dysregulation. Furthermore, the Ketamine infusion therapy initiates a cascade of neurobiological responses that rebalances neuronal activity and stimulates new connections between neurons, literally re-wiring the brain.  There is a simultaneous decrease in the inflammatory response of the brain and body.  Researchers are still exploring all the ways ketamine impacts the brain to fully understand why this medicine works so quickly and efficaciously to ease anxiety and enhance mood.

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy optimally combines Ketamine IV with talk therapy to accelerate emotional and physical healing.  Therapeutic guidance ease concerns and keep you moving towards pre-established goals.  Ketamine is an intense, yet profound healing journey that creates lasting positive change.  Dr. Louise Peters, an experienced clinical psychologist, provides the wraparound framework with sessions pre and post Ketamine as well as during Ketamine IV treatment.  You will receive the necessary facilitation and support to ensure significant and lasting transformation.

Evaluation and Rapid Resolution Therapy® (RRT)

Rapid Resolution Therapy is brain-based hypnotherapy.  In one extended session with Dr. Peters, emotional blocks are discovered and cleared through direct communication with the subconscious mind.  Counterproductive subconscious programs are replaced and updated by newfound wisdom, optimizing mind.  As a result, clients experience relief, clarity, power, and forward momentum even prior to Ketamine IV treatment.  RRT provides focus, direction, and a set intention for Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy.

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy Sessions

People elect to use Ketamine to process personal trauma, heal grief, gain freedom from depression or anxiety, boost creativity and performance, or to have psycho-spiritual experiences.  Whatever your incentive, we will collaboratively create an enlightened vision for your future.  This process of ‘creating a future’ enhances the benefits of Ketamine IV as you begin with a desired outcome in mind.

During Ketamine, there is ease of access to subconscious programs that drive unwanted life patterns.  Through therapeutic guidance, these patterns of outdated thoughts and feelings are released.  The new created vision for your future self is experienced in mind and installed.  Moreover, gates to superconscious state open and you connect with your inner essence, resources, light, and wisdom.  You receive a mental reboot that updates and uplifts mind to increase automatically acting upon what is in your best interest.  A recent client reported that “KAP is like doing 5 years of therapy in a few weeks”.

Ketamine IV is commonly associated with mystical or spiritual experiences of awe, interconnectedness, oneness, and even exaltation.  Following the peak part of the treatment, when the gateway to universal intelligence opens, there is an ‘after glow’.  Upon return to conscious reality, clients report a “lightness of being” or “deep peace”.

Integration and Follow-up

Dr. Peters supports you in integrating surreal and inspirational experiences so you stay on course with respect to pre-set goals and intentions. During integration, the re-set, renewal, and re-sourcing is applied, getting you rock solid on your way onward and upward.  Witnessing rapid transformation through these revolutionary therapies is a true honor, which drives Dr Peters’ passion to heal as many people as possible.
